Whilst we do not run a 'strictly ticket only' club, we are clearly obliged to limit the number of persons admitted to the room. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse admission to those who arrive after all tickets for a particular guest have been sold.

We are sorry if this causes inconvenience to anyone - please contact Bernard beforehand to book your tickets to avoid disappointment!

	OR £6.00 advance booking	YES! You've seen and heard them on Zoom, but tonight they will be LIVE at the Spread Eagle!
Residents' support was from Stewart, Nick & Lin, Carol, John Condy and Bernard, with our Zoom Friend Ian Wardle from Macclesfield (we can now confirm he has LEGS!) providing the pre-raffle-ite spot - in the room, for a change! We finally got to meet this brilliant duo, Jan and Paul Ramsey from Grimsby (yes, they have legs, too!), having seen them so often on Zoom! Not only does Jan have a wonderfully clear singing voice and excellent guitar technique, but Paul complements her so well with his harmonies and 'Blues Harp'. They gave us a great variety of songs, some with sing-along choruses, others without, and some interesting variants on well-known songs - for example, the poles apart Leezie Lindsey and The Molecatcher! They gave us fascinating back stories to many of the songs, without falling into the trap of talking so much that the songs took a back seat!!

Somehow, the Lymm Festival Committee has managed to book the Spread Eagle for a Comedy Night without bothering to respect the fact that it's normally our night. It would be nice if they could contact us and offer an explanation. Fortunately, it is easy enough for us to have a Zoom Only night!

2 June	£1.00	Singers Night BIG Spot ZOOM HYBRID
		with GRASSROOTS Tonight sees another of our 'Big Spot' offerings - performers being asked to do an extended spot on a Singers' Night. This time it's the turn of Grassroots - Janice Bell & Mick Hare!! Unlike our usual Big Spot offerings, our guests will appear via Zoom (owing to Janice's health issues). We will start at 8.30pm with the Singers Night Zoom Hybrid, then at 9.00pm Grassroots will take over, playing through until 9.45pm - if Janice can stay awake that long!! We will then take a short break and do the raffle, after which we will revert to Singers Zoom Hybrid. Grassroots (Janice & Mick) gave us an excellent spot!! Janice was, surprisingly, in great voice despite her medical 'issues', and we enjoyed hearing her! Oh, and Mick as okay, too...!
